Back-to-School Donation to Arise Academy in New Orleans
In collaboration with Dancing Grounds our team had the privilege of passing out 400 backpacks, water bottles and pens to the fabulous students at Arise Academy in New Orleans. We had so much fun and decorating their bags with them!
Hurricane Harvey Donation Collection
So it is official, starting tomorrow morning and thru Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm we will be accepting donations in the parking lot of Central City BBQ. We ask that you pull to the rear of the parking lot. Our hosts, Aaron and Marc, will be open for lunch, so please stay enjoy some lunch, stick around just to hang out.
Items that we are asking for are:
Water- Diapers
- Wipes
- Canned goods
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Bug repellent (OFF Or Citronella Candles)
- Bleach
- Deodorants
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Financial donations to buy some items specially requested by residents
Travel to Rockport, Texas
On Saturday night, we will be getting on the road with our convoy and headed to Rockport, Texas for the 8 hour ride, where we will meet our new friends in the parking lot of Sacred Heart Church.
When we arrive we will distribute everything to some surrounding areas. Robert Faust will begin cooking and serving: Shrimp Creole, Chicken Wings, Mac and Cheese, Chili Dogs, and Gendusa’s Bread.
We all know how important this is, but we all can do it together.

We had a wonderful morning at the Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans with WVUE FOX 8 News. We donated a lot of school supplies to kick off Back-to-School! We love to give back to the community and proud to be a part of this great event.
